The main reason my mom and I made the trip to Norfolk, VA was to see my son off on his next voyage. He is a Navy officer on board the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D Eisenhower and they are on their way across the Atlantic. We watched the ship as she cleared the Chesapeake Bay.
