Macro Monday --- Ornaments

Lisa, it looks like you and I had the same idea for this week's macro! Getting this close to Christmas I just can't help but enjoy all the beautiful ornaments and lights. Some of these were on my tree last year and I used the photos on Christmas cards. They were quite pretty. This year I'm going more with the hand stamped and crafted (see Made for Keeps) but can use these ornament photos in a pinch.

The blue ornament isn't on my tree since I am using mostly red and gold, but I bought it after season for another project. Isn't that color rich?

Though the color scheme for the tree is primarily red and gold, the ornaments are quite eclectic, from this velvet jeweled........

..... to these painted jingle bells.

This is one of my favorite ornaments and made a beautiful greeting card, too.

I love old-world Santas! This guy is actually brighter in color, but I muted the colors of the photo for the greeting card.

I love all things Mannheim Steamroller and treated myself to this ornament last year. Their Christmas music is a favorite at Christmas --- all year, for that matter.
Have a wonderful week, everyone!
