A few months ago I ran these photos for Thematic Photographic - Sky. Well, believe it or not, these were taken in the dark of night during a violent storm over Phoenix, AZ. It was the last desert storm we saw before moving from Arizona. The intensity of the lightning along with the city lights reflecting off the clouds provided a great deal of light. These were taken with my old Canon Rebel.
