This past weekend we had the pleasure of celebrating my uncle's 83rd birthday, as well as my aunt's 80th birthday and their 60th anniversary. Those events most certainly deserve a big family celebration. My cousin Kevin and his wife Kim hosted the festivities and, along with being the perfect hosts, they have the perfect place for a party.
Kevin is an ace mechanic by vocation and a master tinkerer by avocation. Having always loved pinball machines he has taken advantage of opportunities to renovate old machines and now has eight working games in his shop-turned-party-hall. I took advantage of the opportunity to photograph cool examples of angles. The angles of the machines are obvious; then there are the mechanics of the flippers to direct the balls at just the right angles to maximize scores.
There is still time to show off your angles before Carmi at Written, Inc. posts the next weekly Thematic Photographic subject tomorrow at 6:30 pm. (Actually, for a sneak peek you can jump over there now.)

Is anyone better than you? GOOOOO PINK!
Hi Barb, I used to love playing pinball machines when I was in my 20's..I bet the party was fun for all..My step daughter is a breast cancer survivor for 7 years now...she also had chemo and radiation..Her breast reconstruction was done one year after her surgery..I know how important it is to have yearly mammograms..
Thanks for your visit to my place today... hugs, Baba
