It's Portuguese for Beer, We Think.....

My son took this photo while on shore leave in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Search as we might, we haven't been able to find out what "Potty" means in Portuguese, if any thing.

This is a sidewalk beverage stand which does sell beer, among other snacks. Interestingly enough, Skol is a big part of their merchandise. Per Wikipedia: "Skol is the most popular beer in Brazil, originally produced by Brahma in 1980, which in turn became Ambev and then InBev." Now, of course, InBev is merging with Anhauser-Busch.

All this talk of beer, I think I'll go get an ice cold Sam Adams. :-)

If you haven't already, join the fun with Thematic Photographic. Click here to get started. The theme this week is signs, any kind of signs. Signs come in many, many forms --- hmmmmm.
