Opsimath

I don't have an interesting topic to write about, so I turned to one of my favorite books of words. At work we had a "word of the day" which were often enlightening, weird, or just plain useless; but it was always fun to get that email everyday. So, I'll give it a shot here.

Under the topic "Words to Describe People" the word is

OPSIMATH (OP-si-math), noun One who begins learning late in life. From Greek opsi- (late) + math (learning).

"I am an opsimath blogger, but, contrary to popular belief, you can teach old dogs new tricks!"

Challenge: What have you taken up late in life that makes you an opsimath? Note: You don't have to be "old" to be an opsimath!

Keep learning!
